DR WHO COPY HERE With the recent release of the new Jim Carrey film 'A Series of Unfortunate Events', Messages PR had the opportunity to bring together various marketing angles to promote Shopping Centre tenants across the board. Over the three weekends in December, our team visited high profile Centres including Lakeside, The Metro Centre, St. David's Cardiff, The White Rose Leeds and Festival Place in Basingstoke. "Film tie-ins are an increasingly important part of the Shopping Centre business as cinemas, restaurants and retailers capitalise on the public interest and sales possibilities of major movies with big marketing budgets." says Michael Knowles, who event managed the tour. Visiting Shopping Centres at weekends in the run up to Christmas also provided the team with a unique insight into the way shoppers interact with Shopping Centres in this critical pre-Christmas period. |
